How To Stop Backup During iPhone Sync

Many people have been complaining – including myself – about the extremely long, tedious, and annoying backup procedure during the sync from your iPhone to your iTunes.
The syncing process is actually quick on it’s own – it’s the backup procedure that takes ages. That being said, here’s the extremely simple work around.

Simply click the X and the back up will stop. Your syncing will continue, it will just skip the back up process.
However, it’s important to back up your iPhone sometimes – so don’t skip it every time.

Note: After you add your iTunes library, the device icon will disappear since you won’t need it any more. If you’d like to re-enter your code, just go to Settings again, click add library, wait a few seconds and the device icon will appear in iTunes. From this point on just follow the same process described above.
Select your iTunes library

The idea here is simple – take a pic of your card. Bring your iPhone to the store. Instead of scanning your card, just allow the clerk to scan your iPhone. Ta Da!

This Delphi prototype will allow your iPhone to function as your car key remote.
Yea – I know you’re amazed. But you haven’t heard anythin’ yet.
The Delphi Wireless Vehicle Access doesn’t just open your doors. It’s a "smart key":
Start your engine.
Check your gas tank.
Check if your doors are locked.
See the RPM.
See if a door is ajar.
See if the lights are on.
Adjust the temperature inside your car.
See the exact temperature.
Check if your car has been broken in to.
Monitor tire pressure…and more.
…All from your iPhone – and from as far as 1 mile away.
And yes, I did say prototype.
But hey, it was already announced at the 2008 Consumer Electronic Show – perhaps it’s not that far away.
